The Island Star is perfectly equipped to offer our unique brand of relaxed and informal cruising in stylish comfort.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Island Star is the space. With broad decks, double-height public areas and roomy cabins you can always find a place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
The Island Star has an extensive range of guest facilities, some of which will be familiar to those who know the Island Escape, and a number that are unique to this ship.
Choosing where to dine may be the biggest decision of the day with a choice of 5 mouth-watering restaurants. Choose from a quick bite al fresco at the Grill, a huge range of international buffet dishes in the elegant Island Restaurant, 24-hour salads and snacks in the Beachcomber, fine dining in the a la carte Oasis Restaurant or delicious steaks and fish in the Steak House.
Days at sea or in port can be enjoyed out on the spacious sun decks. The separate adult and children’s pools are within easy reach of the Mirage and Sailaway bars. Tear yourself away and join a spinning class in the excellent gym or enjoy a rejuvenating treatment or steam bath in the Spa.
Following a day seeing the sights there’s no shortage of options for your evening entertainment. The spectacular two-storey Ocean Theatre is home to West-End style shows, and visiting guest comedians. The Bounty Club doubles as a cabaret lounge and nightclub at the end of the evening. There are seven bars onboard to choose from; including quieter spots like the Captain’s Club through to the busy Pub where live music keeps the pace high.
Add to this an excellent casino, the Harbour Café speciality coffee shop, library and card room… not to mention shops for perfume, jewellery and gifts and you can see your days onboard the Island Star will just float by.
